QPMC and Al Sarh Trading Co. has commissioned to Bedeschi the supply of handling equipment to operate in Oman – Khatam Malaha.

The equipment includes 3 belt conveyors for a total length of 4,3 Km with capacity to handle gabbro and other materials at 2.000 t/h and one 2000 t/h shiploader to load vessels up to 55 k DWT.

The last section of the conveyor is engineered for offshore installation, with self-holding galleries structure installed above pylons.

This last section of the conveyors is running above the sea, so to reduce the possibility of spillage of the material due to unexpected weather conditions, the belts are running inside a gallery completely sealed in all four sides.

Approximately 2 km on open sea, there is the shiploader luffing and slewing type. It is Installed on an off-shore platform and designed to work on both side of platform with Boom length 30 m.

The shiploader has been delivered fully erected.
