We continue our look back at Bedeschi’s history by highlighting some of the most significant projects that have contributed to making it an internationally leading company.
Since 1908, when it was founded, Bedeschi has specialized in supplying turnkey plants for brick production, designing and manufacturing all the machinery needed for each production phase. The experience gained in the early years has led the company to further expand in the bulk material handling sector. Through the continuous improvement of technical skills, investments in research and development, and the dedication and attention to customer relationships, Bedeschi has been able to develop increasingly larger and more complex machines for handling greater capacities and many different materials.
The photo below shows one of these complex and impressively large machines of that period. It is a quarry excavator, produced by Bedeschi in 1964 for a leading Italian brick manufacturer. The mechanical arm, measuring a total of 44 meters in length, features a chain with buckets that excavate the clay. Mounted on a carriage that runs on rails, the excavator covers a very large area and automates the raw material preparation stage.
At the time, it was an ambitious project that revolutionized the client’s production process by automating the plant and increasing its efficiency. And today, just as then, our company is committed to providing the best and most efficient solutions to meet our customers’ needs, reshaping the industry with cutting-edge technology.
