In 2024, we secured a new order for the supply of a complete material handling system for a Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) production plant. This system includes train unloading and loading, a stockyard system with reclaiming operations, and the necessary conveyor belts. It will play a crucial role in a highly advanced plant dedicated to producing DRI for modern electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking, eliminating the need for traditional blast furnaces.

This innovative process is significantly more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, as it replaces coal with greener energy sources, allowing for the production of low-emission steel. This is a recent and forward-thinking development in the industry—one that we are proud to support through our engineering expertise.

In particular, our train loading systems are designed to handle materials gently, minimizing transfer points and vertical drops. This careful handling not only preserves the quality of the DRI but also reduces dust generation and material degradation, further enhancing the environmental sustainability of the entire process.
