This shiploader was realized for our client in Holland. Bedeschi engineers introduced a significant technological innovation, the patented DSI Adder Snake high angle conveyor.  Placed in the centre of the main gantry, it uses three conveyor belts in all. One narrower belt receives material from a perpendicular tripper conveyor. This belt is then enveloped between two 1600mm wide Sandwich Belts, which gently but firmly contain the product being carried, hence making steep incline and even vertical lifts easily achievable. By virtue of the Sandwich Belt design, the product remains well contained, and this facilitates a reduction in dust emissions and spillage.  The use of all conventional conveyor parts ensures economy and low maintenance.
