This video showcases Bedeschi’s four pipe conveyors, with a total length of over 16 kilometers, transporting coal from a mine to the stockyard of a power plant. The company, in collaboration with ISGEC, completed the engineering and supply of key components for the coal transport line for the Indian Power Company Mahagenco.
These conveyors have a capacity of 1,200 tons per hour and a diameter of 450 mm. The total installed power is 8,370 kW. Thanks to their capability to make tight horizontal curves, the pipe conveyors can follow a complex path along the transport route. This significantly reduces the number of transfer towers that would otherwise be needed with a conventional troughed conveyor system.
