The past month Bedeschi participated in the 21st edition of the belt conveyors symposium held in Essen by Haus der Technik (HDT), the oldest technical training institute in Germany.

Frank Feger, our Head of Revamps, held a presentation on modernization- and revamping options for future-proof operation of belt conveyors.

The most techno-economical solutions are targeted when design-engineering new belt conveyor equipment. Throughout the decades of a conveyor life, technology may develop and after a while the installations do no longer represent the best available technologies. The presentation demonstrated how existing installations could be modified in terms of safety, availability, efficiency and maintainability and the opportunities of operational lifetime extensions.

Bedeschi features an engineering department with excellent experience and know-how in the material handling and mining business with most of the experts on conveyors based in Essen.
