The video below shows one of the assembly techniques used for the trolley wheel unit, the shrink fit method. After being immersed in liquid nitrogen, the shaft contracts and can be joined to the wheel, creating a secure connection that is capable of transmitting heavy loads under the most demanding operating conditions. This is a decisive factor for equipment designed to handle tens of thousands of tonnes of bulk material per hour.
