Since 1908: taking the best from the past to build a better future!
As part of our ongoing journey through Bedeschi’s history, we continue to look back at the milestones that shaped who we are today.
Founded by Guglielmo Bedeschi in 1908, Bedeschi quickly became a leader in supplying turnkey plants for brick production. In the 1950s, we expanded into the cement industry, applying the expertise we gained from brick production and formally entering the bulk handling sector.
The photo below, taken in 1975, shows one of the reclaimers designed and manufactured for the “La Couronne” cement plant in France, owned by the global cement production leader Lafarge Group. The order included primary and secondary crushing groups, along with complete stacking and reclaiming systems.
At that time, the cement plant in La Couronne represented a worldwide milestone thanks to its innovative, energy-efficient “dry” cement manufacturing technology, and, as a result of this major project, Bedeschi gained a strong reputation in the cement industry.
