ORE FABRICA and ORE SOSSEGO are the biggest transhipments all over the world conceived for VALE, the world leading producer of iron ore.

Due to the high costs for shipping bulk material with cape-size ships (too big to enter in many ports), Bedeschi conceived off-shore floating ports providing the ships with belts and cranes to allow the handling of raw materials towards smaller ships or barges. This permits the ships entrance and their loading on the quay.

Even if this machine is not innovative, Bedeschi and Vale improved its systems with higher daily capacities (more than 100,000 tons/day) in compliance with the strictest environmental standards.
